Face Lift

Due to the emergence of new techniques, there is a great improvement in the quality of the results of facial rejuvenation surgeries, also called “facelift”. These changes today allow a reduction in the number and size of incisions, as well, as greater naturalness and duration of the results. Facial rejuvenation surgery aims to reduce the effects of time, gravity, daily stress, and chronic sun damage on the face, which lead to tissue sagging, deep wrinkles, skin sagging, and loss of face and neck contour. The surgery, however, is not able to stop the aging that normally occurs in the years that come after it was performed, and therefore, its results do not last forever. It is possible with it to return the patient to a previous stage of aging, and from that stage, aging begins again. Therefore, an operated patient will always look much better than one who has never had surgery. Generally the most visible results last for 5 or 10 years after surgery, and the patient can be reoperated in the future if necessary. Other surgeries such as Blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery) and Rhinoplasty (nose surgery) are frequently associated. Patients are generally in the age range of 40 to 60 years, and are people with a very active professional and social life, who require the best possible appearance.
